Seminar Announcement: Cognitive Biases and Behavioral Economis
08/04/2025
This summer, Cristina Borgoni and Fabian Herweg will be teaching "Cognitive Biases and Behavioral Economics", a seminar exploring how individuals process information and make decisions.
Drawing from both philosophy and economics, the course will examine biases and heuristics in decision-making. Discussions will range from broader philosophical questions—such as whether using heuristics is truly irrational—to more applied economic questions, like how biases shape trade-offs between short-term benefits and long-term goals.
If you're curious about the intersection of psychology, philosophy, and economics, this seminar is for you!
